I came home last week and found one of my son's bee hives had swarmed in our orchard. Luckily my cousin down the road, Jerry Routh specializes in handling such things. He was able to lure the swarm, which is basically half the original hive, into a new hive where the bees and their queen can start a batch of bees. He also had enough queen cells in the old hive to split and create a total of four new hives from it. Jerry's business is Bee Ready Bee's. He sells queens and honey and his facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/BeeReadyBees?fref=ts.
